In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 communication apps in the United Arab Emirates showcased varied performance metrics in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at their trends:

imo-International Calls & Chat from imo.im saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $6.3K in the final week of December. Downloads experienced an upward trend towards the end of the quarter, reaching around 52.8K in the last week. Active users, however, showed a slight decline from 3.6M to 3.4M throughout the quarter.

Azar: Video Chat & Meet People by Hyperconnect LLC had a notable peak in weekly revenue at $25.2K in early November. Downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 2.3K and 2.8K. Active users ranged from approximately 15.8K to 14.5K during the quarter.
